General Recommendations:

Please keep in mind that you are competing against a pool of candidates, and everyone wants to win. So, if you can, try to increase your chances with:
  • English level improvements – the higher it is the higher Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points you will get
  • French as a second language gives you extra scores and also brings a few more options, such as francophone category selection or Quebec immigration programs
  • Education level improvements - If you can, get an additional certificate and/or diploma. Canadian credentials are always beneficial.
  • Finding a job in Canada – Work experience in Canada gives you not only higher scores but also opens more opportunities for you.
  • Application for Provincial Nomination – find a provincial immigration program and get an additional 600 points with the nomination from a province

Please keep in mind:
  • This self-assessment is a surface cut to give you an idea of where to start. Print this report if you need it because we do not keep it.
  • The self-assessment questionnaire and the report are for your information only, to help you to understand the process and options. It is not a legal advice or official process. We are not responsible for your answers and/or your actions.
  • Assessments and recommendations are made automatically based on your answers. If you provide incorrect or false information – you will get useless results.
  • Your self-assessment may differ from the official assessment. For example, your Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) from the approved organizations may not confirm your education level. Or official language tests may show lower or higher results.
  • It may be the difference when it comes to the real application process. We are trying our best to stay up to date, but some changes may occur, and time is needed to implement those changes into our process.
